How do you summarize a life? A life well lived and full of laughter, love, and life. Anyone who met Joe, met a kindhearted and loving spirit who had a zest for life like no other. Joe believed in taking care of family and friends, he didn’t care what time of the day, night or even what was happening in his own personal life, he was there for you. Joe was a great listener and was always ready to listen and provide his advice on anything and everything. Laughter, Joe had a contagious laugh and no matter how sad you were when you talked, he always had you laughing in the end. No one could be around Joe and not laugh. His laughter will forever be missed. Joe was a beacon of light in our family and on August 10th, 2021, our world became a lot less bright as his light was snuffed out too soon. We know and rejoice in the fact that Joe is walking the streets of gold with the angels and the heavens are filled with his laughter and brightened by his smile. Heaven truly gained an angel that day. We love you Joe and we miss you.
Mr. Verran is survived by his mother and stepfather, Brenda Kay Snell Pilson and Ralph of Woolwine; his father and stepmother, Joseph Harold Verran and Lola of Lapeer, Michigan; siblings, Mathew James Verran of Lapeer, Michigan, Holly Jean Conner and husband, Bud of Woolwine, and Karen Michelle Pilson Bocock of Stuart; Nieces, Katherine Anne Conner Holt and husband, Matthew, Jessica Danielle Conner, Kelly Stowe, and Nicole Bocock; nephews, Nicolas Mathew Verran, Harley Bocock, Brandon Bocock, Lee Stowe, and Glenn Conner and wife, Stephanie; several great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sunny.
