Josephine Ruth Lineback

Mrs. J. Ruth Lineback, age 91, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Northern Hospital of Surry County.  She was born December 27, 1927 to the late Hosea and Maggie Akers Gwyn.  She was retired from Northern Hospital of Surry County and was a member of Haymore Baptist Church.  Left to cherish her memories is a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Donna Lineback; grandchildren, Kyle Lineback and Karla Lineback; great-grandchild, Haley Lineback; best friend, Doris Stein.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Lineback was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 3:30 PM with services conducted by Rev. David Long.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 2:30 until time for the service at moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
