Joshua Nichols Owens

Joshua Nichols Owens, age 32, of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019.  Joshua was born in Forsyth County on July 5, 1987.  Joshua was a kind spirit who was loved by anyone who knew him.  Among the many who will cherish his memory is his mother, Robin Nichols Owens, his sister, Emily Rose Owens (Adam Pruitt), his brother, Jeremy Ryan Owens; a niece, Brooklynn Rose Pruitt; his grandparents, Douglas and Anita Nichols, and JR Owens; aunts and uncles, Gina and Trent Tucker, Vicki and Bodey Fields, Mitchell and Donna Owens, cousins, Madison Hamby and husband Garrett, Brayton Fields, Olivia Tucker, Ashley Rand and husband Will and Joslin Owens; and many dear friends.  Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Joseph “Joey” Gordon Owens and his paternal grandmother, Doris Gordon Owens.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2019, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Alex Martin.  The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30.
