Mrs. Joyce Ann Stanley Corder, age 81, of Dobson NC passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. She was born in Surry County on April 11, 1941, to the late Roby Drumond Stanley and to Nellie McCree White Stanley. She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church, was a retired seamstress at Perry Manufacturing, and enjoyed decorating, gardening and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Lee Corder; son, Ricky Lee Corder; granddaughter, Bethany Casstevens Tilley; sisters, Libby Wood and Shirley Shinault; brothers, Roby “Dexter” Stanley, Garry Lee Stanley; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Whitaker and Douglas Harrison.

     Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene Corder Casstevens and Richard Darrell Casstevens; daughter-in-law, Angela Cockerham; grandchildren, Alicia Corder Ashley (Russ), Lee Aaron Corder (Amber Clementi), Christina Casstevens Santarelli (Tony); great grandchildren, Kaylee Sue Tilley, Evelyn Darryl Tilley, Leonardo Vincent Santarelli, and one on the way, Alexandra Joyce Santarelli; sister, Patricia Harrison; sisters-in-law, Belinda Stanley, Jeannie Anne Collins and Joan Younger; brothers-in-law, Ransom Wood, Ray Shinault; and her Aunt, Nancy Morrison.

            The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, July 1, 2022, at Mount Hermon Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Danny Henley will officiate the services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
