Joyce Gayle McMillian

Mrs. Joyce Gayle Jarrell McMillan, age 76, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. McMillian was born in Surry County on December 1, 1942, to Porter and Eathel Meehling Jarrell.  She was a loving wife, mother, and sister who will be dearly missed.  Among the many who will always cherish her memory is her husband, H. Bryan “Motor” McMillian; a daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Ronald Inscore; sisters and brothers-in-law, Delores Gantt, Rosalie and James Simpson, Pearl Smith, Brenda and Thomas Edwards, Sharon Boles, Deborah and Bobby Puckett; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Becky Jarrell, Lowell and Elaine Jarrell, Ronald and Barbara Jo Jarrell, Johnny and Linda Jarrell, and Kenneth Jarrell; a special niece, Lynn “Lucy Jane”; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. McMillian was preceded in death by brothers, Larry Jarrell, Jerry Jarrell and Mike Jarrell.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 13, 2019, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gary Easter.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home of Tonya and Ronald Inscore.
