Joyce Patterson Quesinberry

Mrs. Joyce Patterson Quesinberry, 70, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, August 25, 2008, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Quesinberry was born June 15, 1938, in Surry County, to Mallory Glenn and Grace Etta Doss Patterson. She was a retired certified nursing assistant. Surviving are three daughters, Lori Chandler and Cindy Quesinberry, both of Mount Airy, and Jackie Quesinberry of Lewisville; grandchildren, Brandy Harris, Cody Chandler, and Dustin and Teresa Chandler; great grandchildren, Brandon and Savannah; sisters and brother-in-law, Lucille Inman and Lois and Alvin Mayes; and special friends, Katie and Shelia. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Skyline Memory Gardens. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Slate and Rev. Vladimir Strejcek. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
