Judy Carolyn Boyd Barker

Mrs. Judy Carolyn Boyd Barker age 54 of 190 Woodcreek Drive, Mt. Airy, NC passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem after fighting a battle with cancer. She was born June 10, 1953 in Surry County, NC to the late John E. and Alta Quesinberry Boyd. Mrs. Barker was of the Baptist Faith and was self employed. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Velvet and Vernon Lee Sales of Winston-Salem, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roger L. and Allison Barker, Oxford, Kevin D. Barker of Winston-Salem, six grandchildren, Tamkia Penn, Megan Green, Lee Sales, Damian Cole Barker, Seth Barclay, and Jacob Barclay, four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Linda and Jack Lee, Evelyn and Fred Tickle, Jean and Leo Pipes and Shelia Love all of Mt. Airy, a brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Teresa Boyd, Mt. Airy, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday May 13, 2008 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Lanny Atkins. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Monday night a Moody Funeral Home where her body will remain until the hour of the service.
