Judy Lane Bauguess

Mrs. Judy Lane Wood Bauguess, age 72, of Dobson, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at her residence. She was born May 14, 1950, in Wilkes County to the late Zoye and Elsie Crabb Wood. She was employed by KDH Hosiery quality assurance for 20 plus years.. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mae Bumgarner, Bertha Lou Anderson, and Virginia Wood. One brother Clayton Wood .. Left to cherish her memorials are her loving husband of 53 years, Allen Bauguess; her loving daughter and best friend, Alania Galyean and husband, Gary Galyean; grandchildren, Blake Allen Key and wife Sarah and Brandon Brian Key; great grandchildren, Isaiah Allen Key, Serenity Grace Key, Joshua Greyson Key and Savannah Rose Key; sisters, Betty Jo Billings, Frances Church and Kathy Wood. One brother Melvin Wood and Gaynell Howard sister-in-law, Frances Wood; and brother in law RG Anderson; Several nieces and nephews and special friends and neighbors, Peggy Murray,  Eddie and Linda Westmoreland, The Robert and Arlene Davis Families and her canine companion and guardian, Ruger. Mrs. Bauguess loved spending time with her family and cooking for them all whenever possible. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
