Judy Carol (Hiatt) Bell

Mrs. Judy Carol Hiatt Bell, age 73, went home to be with the Jesus, who she had a personal relationship, on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.  Mrs. Bell was born on September 12, 1948, in Randolph County to the late Willian E. and Mary Christine Dix Hiatt.  Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Judy was an amazingly talented artist and art was her passion.  She owned/operated Mom and Me Specialty at Mayberry Mall, in Mount Airy for many years, displaying her work.  Judy also participated in the Autumn Leaves Festival for numerous years as well as doing personal request for numerous people through her painting career.  In her later years she worked at Cracker Barrell in the gift shop where she made many loving friendships with her co-works “ The Crackers”.  Left to cherish her memories is her daughter, Kim Cooke and husband Greg; grandchildren, Kirby Cooke and wife Kristen; one great-grandchild, Ripken Cooke; one loving sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Hiatt King and husband Ernest; many nieces and nephews, and her faithful fur baby, Bella.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Price Bell.  No formal funeral services will be held at this time.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
