Judy Carol Hunter Hill

Mrs. Judy Carol Hunter Hill, 66, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Hill was born December 28, 1951, in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late Walter Alvin and Myrtle Alene Sawyers Hunter. Judy was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Roy Edward Hill of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Steven Wareing of Mount Airy; two sons, Bobby Junior McCormick and Christopher Roy Hill, both of Dobson; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Pat Bennett, Doris Draughn, Barbara Edwards, and Glenda “Peanut” Edwards; and two brothers, Alvin Junior Hunter and Danny Hunter. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by three sisters, Ella Mae Wilson, Joyce Hunter, and Paula Denise Hunter; and two brothers, Ronnie Hunter and Kenneth Easter. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018, at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Israel Easter officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moody Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030, to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
