Judy Johnson

On January 22, 2021, Judy Maynard Johnson, 72, went to be with our Lord.  Born January 6, 1949, she was preceded in death by her father, Moses Maynard; mother, Fannie Maynard Thornberry; twin brother, Jim Maynard; brother, Moses Maynard; and stepfather, Elmer Thornberry.  She is survived by her husband, Patrick Johnson; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick E. and Lori Johnson; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sherrie and Trent Gadsby, and Samantha Cobb; eight grandchildren, Ethan Johnson, Edyn Johnson, Asher Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Kaitlyn Gadsby, Emily Gadsby, Lucas Gadsby, and Avery Gadsby; brother, John Maynard; and by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty and David Justice, and Linda Carter.  Mrs. Johnson was loved by everyone she knew and has touched the lives of so many people.  She was a loving homemaker and a member of Blue Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Blackberry, KY.  A service of worship and celebration of Mrs. Johnson’s life will be held at a date and later time.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Johnson family.
