Judy King

Mrs. Judy Ann Wilmoth King, age 75, of Dobson, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Autumn Care of Statesville, NC.  She was born in Surry County on February 17, 1946, to the late Kelly Basil Wilmoth and the late Mittie Ruth Wolfe Wilmoth.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jack Ray King, and sister, Sondra Thompson.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, and retired from Cross Creek Manufacturing.  Judy enjoyed quilting, needlepoint and sewing.  She could always be found holding a Reader’s Digest or Word Search Book. Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Eric Ray and Lynette King; granddaughter, Kendyl King; one sister, Sue Atkins; niece, Michelle and Michael Payne; nephew, Christopher and Jay Wilmoth; great-nieces, Brittany Payne, Samantha Payne.  A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday, May 1, 2021 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 7659 NC 268, Dobson, NC 27017.  Due to COVID restrictions, the family requests all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
