Judy Strickland Sandlin

Mrs. Judy Lane Wilmoth Strickland Sandlin, age 71, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Sandlin was born on May 4, 1950, in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Lester Wilmoth and Opal Strickland Wilmoth. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons-in-law, Kristie Strickland and husband, Patrick Smith, Kimberely Strickland and husband, Russell Suiter; grandchildren, Bailey Strickland, Carmen Smith, Lola Suiter; sisters and brothers-in-law, Paula Tate and husband, Billy, Cathy Wilmoth; and a special cousin, Wade McMillan. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sandlin was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Joseph Sandlin; two sisters, Pam Wilmoth, Carolyn Wilmoth; two brothers, Donald Wilmoth and Thomas Bailey Wilmoth. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. Moody Funeral Service in Mount Airy is serving the family.
