Judy Ann Smith

Ms. Judy Ann Vaden Smith, age 71, of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at her home.  Mrs. Smith was born in Surry County on November 23, 1946, to Otelia Willard Vaden and the late Royce Vaden.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.  Surviving are a daughter, Misty Smith, sons, Dwight Smith, and Brian Smith, grandchildren, Emma Smith, and Tyler Smith; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Steve Leonard; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Colene Vaden, Wade and Debbie Vaden, and Tony and Terri Vaden.  In addition to her father, Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her twin sister, and an infant son.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Rock House Primitive Baptist Church by Rev. Brad Atkins.
