Julia Hinkle Peele

Mrs. Julia Hinkle Peele, age 69, of Ararat, NC, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born in Davidson County on January 24, 1953 to Flossie Abernathy Hinkle Pinnix and the late Pete Hinkle.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Julia had many friends whom she loved and as well she was loved by many.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 34 years; Tony Peele; her children, Emily Peele, Jamie Peele ( Heather); grandchild, Aiden Peele; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie Herr (Doug), Amy Sink (Mark), Jorene Tesmer (Dave); father and mother-in-law, Colie Gray and Julia Simmons Peele as well as several nieces and nephews.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Terry Watson.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until time for the service at the funeral home.  In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Julia’s honor to the American Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice.
