Junior Edgar Jenkins

Mr. Junior Edgar Jenkins, age 76 of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006 at Sunbridge Health Care in Sparta. Mr. Jenkins was born in Surry County on February 4, 1930 son of the late Plesent Jenkins and Della Pruitt Jenkins and was retired from the Mount Airy Furniture Factory. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law, Ann and Grant Tilley of Westfield and Lettie Blevins of Thurmond; two sons, Douglas Moxley and James Moxley both of Sparta; a special son-in-law, Dennis Blevins of Dobson; three grandchildren, Amatha Moxley, Austin Moxley and Kyra Moxley; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Donna Martin and daughter, Ashley. A private graveside service will be conducted for the family by Rev. Varon Walker. No formal visitation will be held at the funeral home. A guest register will be provided for friends.
