Justin Wade Edwards

Mr. Justin Wade Edwards, 21, of Cana, VA, passed away March 6, 2009. Mr. Edwards was born June 16, 1987, in Surry County, to Wade and Gail Cagle Edwards. He was a student at Surry Community College. Surviving are a son, Alex Ray Edwards; Alex's mother and special friend, Samantha Leath of Hillsville, VA; his parents, Wade and Gail Cagle Edwards of Cana, VA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Amanda and Robert Sproule of Elmira, NY, and Stacie Edwards of Winston-Salem; his grandparents, Dora White and Maxine Edwards, both of Cana, VA; a niece, Brittany Edwards; and three nephews, Canyon Sproule, Raven Sproule, and Dylan Easter. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by grandfathers, Jim Edwards and Raymond Cagle. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, May 15, 2009, at Fancy Gap Holiness Church, by the Rev. Tommy Vass. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
