Justin Kent Hawks

Mr. Justin Kent Hawks, 40, of Mt. Airy, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Friday, January 20, 2023.  He was born in Galax, VA, January 2, 1983, to Charlotte Ann Jones and Ricky Lee Hawks. He was a talented young man with a heartwarming smile. In addition to his parents, Justin will forever be remembered by his son, Christian Throckmorton; his fiancée, Ashley Williams; his brothers, Brandon and Robby Hawks; half-brother, Jacob Edwards; a niece, Riley Hawks; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. A funeral service will be held at Moody Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 pm, Friday, January 27, 2023.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
