Justin Andrew Tate

Mr. Justin Andrew Tate, age 21 of Mt. Airy passed away in Rockingham, NC Tuesday, July 22, 2008. He was born on May 26, 1987 in Surry County to Lisa Bowman Tate and the late John Randy Tate. Mr. Tate is survived by his mother and step father, Lisa Tate and Tim King of the home; sisters and a brother-in-law, Terri Tilley and Lisa and Jerry Cox all of Mt. Airy; brothers, John Tate of Mt. Airy and Jared Tate of the home; a half-brother, Jeremiah Hiatt serving in the US Military; grandparents, Ed and Nancy Johnson, Lettie Mae Tate, Kathleen and Blaine Montgomery all of Mt. Airy. In addition to his father, Mr. Tate was preceded in death by his grandfather, John D. Tate. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2008 at The People's Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the People's Church Friday, July 25, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted, but the family is requesting donations be made to Moody Funeral Home, PO Box 1288, Mt. Airy, NC to assist with the funeral expenses.
