Karen Diane Hicks Rogers

Mrs. Karen Diane Hicks Rogers, 54, of Lowgap, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital. She was born on January 3, 1967, in Stokes County to Kay Loyce Wood Jones and the late Charles Jay Hicks. She was the Secretary / Treasurer of Industrial Fire and Safety. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years, Richard Darrell Rogers; mother, Kay Jones; brothers, Charles Brian Hicks, and Gregory Dean Hicks and wife Glenna; her mother-in-law, Juanita Westmoreland Rogers; a special nephew, Shane Gregory Hicks and wife Brandie and their son Jeremiah; a special niece, Miranda Faye Hicks; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Karen was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert Dean Jones; and her father-in-law, Richard William Rogers. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Grace Moravian Church at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. Neil Routh and the Rev. Rick Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in God’s Acre. The family will receive friends on Monday at the church from 12:00 noon until time of the service.
