Kathleen Jessup Frye

Mrs. Kathleen Jessup Frye, 81, of Mount Airy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday night, August 27, 2024, with family by her side. Mrs. Frye was born October 21, 1942, in Surry County, the daughter of the late Adam Reid and Martha Lee Anderson Jessup. Kathleen retired from Cross Creek Apparel and was a member of Albion Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Junior Jessup of Mount Airy, Beauford Jessup of Westfield, Lester and Shirley Jessup of Mount Airy, and Kenneth and Brenda Jessup of Clemmons; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frye was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Grady Frye; an infant brother, William Bevel Jessup; her sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Boyce Rogers; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Inez Jessup, Clarence and Eugenia Jessup, Boyd and Barbara Jessup, Lonnie and Judy Jessup, Leota Jessup, and Carol Jessup. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with Pastor Ricky Easter officiating. No formal visitation will be held; however, family and friends may pay their respects Monday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love, care, and compassion shown by the staff at Priddy Manor and Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care.
