Kathleen Sehen

Mrs. Kathleen Sehen, 81, of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living, Saturday, December 24, 2022.  She was born in Surry County, October 7, 1941, to the late Laura Puckett Holder.  Mrs. Sehen enjoyed life and caring for others.  She loved her family and retired as a nursing assistant from Surry Friends of Seniors.  Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Peggy Gardner; sister-in-law, Peggy Hawks; a special aunt, Lucille Riggans; special nieces, Robin Hardin and husband, Joshua and their son, Landon, Wanda Billings and husband, James, and their son, Dustin; a special nephew Jerry Hawks and wife, Sheila, and their daughter, Tiffany, and their grandchild Nikki.  In addition to her mother, Mrs. Sehen was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Stevens, and her second husband, Jimmy Sehen; her step father, Dwight Holder; a brother, Ray Hawks; a sister Betty Ruth “Bob” Hawks; a brother-in-law, Rubin Gardner; and a nephew, Terry Hawks.  A celebration of life service will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 29, 2022, with Rev. Alton Bledsoe officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Ste 101, Mt.
