Kathleen White Trivette

Mrs. Kathleen White Trivette, of Boonville, passed away at Hugh Chatham Hospital on November 11, 2009 after a short illness. She was born in Surry County on April 1, 1933 to the late Charlie C. and Edna Corder White. She retired from AT&T, Lexington Road Plant and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Dobson. She is survived by her son, Kent Trivette and wife Amy S. Trivette of Niston Lane, Mount Airy; two grandchildren, Jordan Leigh Atkins and Corbin Sawyer Trivette of Niston Lane, Mount Airy; two sisters, Vena White Draughn and Brenda White Davis both of Dobson. Mrs. Trivette was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Irene W. Church; three brothers, Sanford F. White, James W. White and Charles E. White. Her funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday November 14, 2009 at Fairview Baptist Church by Rev. Andy Atkins and Rev. Dan Merritt with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 7 to 9 pm where her body will remain to lie-in-state thirty minutes prior to the service.
