Kathy Ann Hose

Ms. Kathy Ann Johnson Hose, 53, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 29, 2018, at her home.  Ms. Hose was born March 14, 1965, in Surry County, one of three children born to Douglas Dean Johnson and the late Roena Ree Hiatt Johnson.  Kathy was formerly employed as a waitress at Town and Country Restaurant in King and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She is survived by two sons, Nathan Shane Crotts of Winston-Salem and Gaven Neal Hose of Pilot Mountain; her father, Douglas Dean Johnson of Mount Airy; a sister, Regina Lynn Johnson of Mount Airy; and a brother and sister-in-law, Dean Franklin and Loretta Johnson of Pilot Mountain.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 2:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – Pilot Mountain Ward, with First Counselor Jeremy Tolbert, Bishop Randall Gentry, Bishop J.C. Haymore, and Elder David Culler officiating.  No formal visitation will be held at the church.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
