Kathy Lynn Wolfe

Ms. Kathy Lynn Wolfe, 65, of King, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 4, 2018, at her home.  Ms. Wolfe was born February 2, 1953, in Surry County, to Billy Clayton Wolfe and the late Mary Kathleen Johnson Wolfe.  Kathy retired from Surry County Schools, as a teacher and preschool coordinator, and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.  She is survived by her father, Billy Clayton Wolfe of Elkin; a brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Joan Wolfe of Dobson; a niece and her husband, Hanna and Brian Sain; a nephew and his wife, John and Ashley Wolfe; and great nephews, Ben and Jacob Sain and Evyn and Xander Wyatt.  The funeral service will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Double Creek Church of Christ, with Pastor Michael Bigelow officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the Double Creek Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, c/o Joyce Hardy, 646 Double Creek Road, Dobson, NC  27017.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Wolfe family.
