Kay Frankie Sprinkle Venable

Mrs. Kay Frankie Sprinkle Venable, 57, of Dobson, passed away Wednesday morning, September 22, 2010, at her home. She was born July 8, 1953, in Surry County, to the late Issac Dawes and Ola Mae Simpson Sprinkle. She worked for the Yadkin County Department of Social Services as a Medicaid case worker. Surviving are her husband, Rex Howard Venable of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Venable and Eric Sorrell of Yadkinville and Sarah Elizabeth and Mitchell Southard of Dobson; and three grandchildren, Emma Grace Sorrell, Abigail Faith Sorrell, and Isabelle Denise Venable. In addition to her parents, an infant brother preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 24, 2010, at 7:00 PM at Shield of Faith Baptist Church, located at 209 East Atkins Street in Dobson. Terry Longworth will conduct the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be no formal services held at Moody-Davis Funeral Home. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Shield of Faith Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1163, Dobson, NC 27017.

A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday September 24, 2010 at the Shield of Faith Baptist Church on 209 East Atkins St., Dobson, NC 27017. Terry Longworth will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening one-hour prior the Memorial Service.
