Keith Laine Byerly

Mr. Keith Laine Byerly, 40, of 1225 Kindley Road, Thomasville, passed away Saturday morning, July 21, 2012, at Thomasville Medical Center. Mr. Byerly was born January 6, 1972, in Surry County, to Kenneth Wayne Byerly and Brenda Kaye Faulkner Byerly Stokes. He was self-employed for the majority of his adult life. He is survived by his children, Chasity Yvonne Byerly and Patrick Keith Byerly, both of Thomasville; a granddaughter, Alayna Kaye Rowland; his father, Kenneth Wayne Byerly of Thomasville; his mother and stepfather, Brenda Kaye and Ron Stokes of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Rodney Byerly and Daniel Byerly, both of Thomasville; a stepsister, April Verseman of Lewisville; a stepbrother, Drew Stokes of Orange Park, FL; several nieces and nephews, Samantha, Aubrey, Haley, Jacob, Luke, Jackson, and Alex; a great nephew, Maddox; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a special friend, who was like a brother, Allen Cooke of Lambsburg, VA. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 23, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Stantliff-Faulkner Cemetery in Lambsburg, VA, with the Rev. Dwayne Byerly officiating. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
