Kelly Ann Blackburn Hice

Mrs. Kelly Ann Blackburn Hice, age 60, of Lowgap, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 13,1965, in Alleghany County, to the late Robert D. Blackburn and the late Peggy Shupe Bryant. Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband, Robert “Bobby” Hice; her daughter, Jessica Golding and her husband James; son, Christopher Hice; daughters of the heart, Bethany Brown, and Molly Gaylean and her husband Jim Bob; grandchildren, Jaren, Katlin, Chloe, Colton, Serenity, Carter, and Immanuel; sisters, Debbie Grace, Sandy Roberts and her husband, Jim, Cathy Johnson and her husband Lee; brother, Robert “Jeffrey” Blackburn and his wife Gail; brother-in-law, Kenneth Lowe; sister-in-law, Becky Bandy; sister-in-law, Lucy Hice; and numerous special nieces and nephews, Kelly was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to everyone, and was co-owner of L and H Enterprises.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Nanny Sib and her husband, Bert Blevins; sister-in-law, Nanny Pat Lowe; brother-in-law, Johnny Hice; niece, Keisha Hice; and nephews, Justin Marshall, Joshua Blackburn, and Jim Blevins.

Visitation for Mrs. Hice will be Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 23, in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Pastor Bobby D. Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be accepting flowers. Moody-Davis Funeral Service is serving the Hice family.
