Mr. Kelvin Thomas Harry Seivers, 93, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Seivers was born December 4, 1931, in Forsyth County, to the late William Henry and Etta Elizabeth Merritt Seivers. Kelvin was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who was loved by all who knew him. He was veteran of the United States Air Force and the owner-operator of Seivers Studio. Kelvin was a member of Grace Moravian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Novijo Draughn Seivers; and a brother, Henry Lee Seivers, Sr. Surviving are his daughter, Susan Seivers Hemric and her husband, Jeff; his son, David Seivers; his grandchildren, Josh Hemric, Daniel and Erica Hemric, and Kelly Atkins; seven great-grandchildren, Abby Hemric, Reed Hemric, Bailey Atkins, Trampus Atkins, Madi Atkins, Cash Hemric, and Ty Hemric; along with several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Grace Moravian Church, with the Rev. Andrew Heil officiating. Bural will follow at God’s Acre. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Grace Moravian Church, 1401 North Main Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030; or the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
