Kenneth Wayne Ayers

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Ayers, age 66, of Cana, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at his home.  He was born on February 11,1957, in Forsyth County to the late Ewell and Lucy Tate Ayers.  He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will surely be missed by all who knew him.  Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Heather Ayers, Amanda Ayers, Amy Riggins; son Anthony Ayers (Cynthia); ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; sisters, Betty Collins, Dot Vernon (Johnny), Christine Mabe; brothers, J.C. Ayers, Jimmy Ayers, Bobby Ayers, Troy Ayers (Ann), Clinton Ayers (Sandra), J.D. Ayers, Daniel Ayers (Shirley).  In addition to his parents, Mr. Ayers was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Ayers, brothers-in-law, Charlie Mabe, Ted Collins; sisters-in-law, Dawn, Marcie, and Bonnie Ayers.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 11:00 in the morning at Bear Trail Baptist Church with service conducted by Rev. Tim Crotts.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time for the service at the church.
