Kenneth Wade Cobler, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Wade Cobler Sr. age 73, of Dobson, NC passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home.  He was born in Dobson, NC on April 8, 1946, to the late Jasper Walter Cobler and the late Beulah Bonds Cobler McMillian.  He was the owner-operator of Cobler's Garage and Wrecker Service.  He attended the Blackwater Community Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, little Harvey; and a brother, Wayne Cobler.  Surviving are his wife, Flora Edwards Cobler; two daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl Ledford, Connie and David Atkins; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Wade Cobler, Jr., Tommy Ray and Tiffany Cobler, Timmy Gray and Lisa Cobler; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother and sisters-in-law, Carroll and Geneva Cobler; Wilma Cobler; dear friend and caregiver, Dorcas Beck; and other loving family and friends.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2020, in the Kenneth Wade Cobler Sr. family cemetery.  Brother Chad Hemmings and Brother Craig Key will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends at their home following the graveside service.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Cobler family.
