Kenneth Michael Draughn

Mr. Kenneth Michael Draughn, age 41 of Mt. Airy passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 4, 2008. Mr. Draughn was born April 17, 1966 in Surry County to Catherine Elaine Bowman Draughn and the late Gilbert Otis Draughn. He was a driver for Yveddi Public Transportation and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Draughn is survived by a daughter, Faith Marie Draughn of Mt. Airy; his mother, Catherine Elaine Bowman Draughn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Otis and Norma Draughn, Ronald Ray and Maria Draughn all of Mt. Airy; a special niece, Chrystal Smith of Mt. Airy; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, Mr. Draughn was preceded in death by an infant brother, Wade Perry Draughn. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, January 7, 2008 at Doe Run Baptist Church by Rev. Terry Vaughan and Rev. Roger Draughn and Dr. Craig Edwards with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 PM Sunday, January 6, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
