Kenneth Norman Dunkley

        Mr. Kenneth Norman Dunkley, age 70 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  He was born in Patrick County on June 23, 1948, to the late Alvis Dunkley and Thelma Owens Dunkley.  Kenneth volunteered with CCDF Fire and Rescue Squad.  He spent his whole life farming and it’s what he lived for.

Mr. Dunkley is survived by a sister, Margaret Holt, and husband, Thomas; special niece, Traci Kornett, and husband, Brian (their son, Bryce); special nephew, Keith Holt, (his children, Brooke and Elliot); special aunts, Edith Stowe, Nancy Foley, and Nellie Boles; and several cousins.

        Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Michael Morrison and Pastor Ricky Rogers officiating.   Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon and other times at the home of his sister.
