Kenneth Elwyn Fulk

Mr. Kenneth Elwyn Fulk, age 73 of Mount Airy, passed away on Friday evening, June 9, 2023, at his home in Mount Airy surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Fulk was born on December 3, 1949, in Surry County to the late Charlie Linville and Ina Emogene Jarrell Fulk.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Shera Ann Hull Fulk; daughter Michelle Fulk and fiancé Oakie Macarty; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Fulk and Paula; four grandchildren, Dixie Fulk, Delaney Fulk, Dustin Senter, Samantha Macarty; one great-grandchild, Grayson Senter; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Fulk Jenkins and Allen; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Fulk; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Fulk was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Fulk Branch, Carol Fulk Watson; and a brother, Charles Devon Fulk.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Butch Holder officiating.  The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior at the graveside and other times at the Fulk home.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Suite 101, Mount Airy, North Carolina  27030.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
