Kenneth Jones

Mr. Kenneth Jones, 55, of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at his home. He was born in Surry County on February 22, 1966, to the late Buddy Roger Jones and Margaret Puckett Jones. Mr. Jones retired from the United States Air Force and worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years. In addition to, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Hodges. He is survived by his children, Kayla Jones, Kendall Jones and Sabrina Myers, and his sister, Kathy Foulks. A funeral service will be held at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 2:00pm with Pastor Mike Duffield officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Cemetery with full military honors conducted by VFW Memorial Honor Guard Post 2019 of Mt. Airy and Post 9436 of Pilot Mountain. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:30pm until 2:00pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for all donations to be sent to The Wounded Warrior Project.
