Kenneth Wayne Leonard

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Leonard age 60 of 243 Hunting Hill Drive, Mount Airy, husband of Rita Carol Garner Leonard passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Leonard was born December 27, 1946 son of John Leonard and Ruth Vestal Leonard. He was a member of Grace Moravian Church and was Vice President at Insteel Wire Products. Surviving are his wife, Rita Carol Garner Leonard of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori Ann and Andrew Starling of Winston-Salem and Amy Carol and Tommy Reeves of Westfield; two grandsons, George William Starling and Samuel Thomas Reeves; his parents, John Leonard and Ruth Vestal Leonard of Thomasville; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and James Byrd of Thomasville and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy Dale and Becki Leonard of Troutman and Ricky Joe and Lynn Leonard of King and his father-in-law, Hollis Garner of Mount Airy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Grace Moravian Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Jeff Coppage with burial to follow in God's Acre Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
