Kenneth Dale Marion

Mr. Kenneth Dale Marion, 68, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Surry County on June 29, 1953, to the late Carlie Roosevelt and Myrtle Slaydon Marion. Mr. Marion was a loving father, and brother who will be dearly missed. He is survived by daughters, Tracy Marion, Stephanie Marion and fiancé Cody Bowman, Indiana Marion; sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth “KC” and Brandy Marion, Tony Marion; grandchildren, Alex Marion, Aubree Marion, Kenley Burke, Caroline Bowman, Annabelle Marion, Anna Marion, Abbiegail Marion, Amber Hawks, and Daniel Rubio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessie and Donald Watson, Gladys and Bud Bauguess, his twin sister, Jo Nell Hamm; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Marion was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Lola and Brady Riggs; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Lorene Marion. A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hank Robertson the Rev. Ronnie Robertson, and the Rev. Fred Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral home in Mt. Airy.
