Kenneth Lee Marshall

Mr. Kenneth Lee Marshall, 81, of Ararat, VA passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Northern Hospital of Surry County.  He was born in Patrick County on November 14, 1937 to the late Ulus Herman and Elsie Dawson Marshall.  Mr. Marshall was a self-employed Carpenter and was a faithful member of Willis Gap Baptist Church.  He is survived by a daughter, Janet Candler; sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne Lee and Betty Marshall, Gary Wade Marshall; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Gates, Hazel and Warren Easter, Velma Anders, Nellie and Otto Hiatt; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Velda Marshall, Clyde and Peggy Marshall, Clifford and Judy Marshall; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his wife, Treva Inscore Marshall; one grandchild; six brothers and sisters.  A funeral service will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Willis Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Stegall officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Willis Gap Baptist Church.  Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
