Kenneth Ray Mustin

Mr. Kenneth Ray Mustin, age 72, of Mount Airy, passed away on Friday evening, October 30, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  He was born in Surry County on May 25, 1948 to the late James Lindsey Mustin and Minnie Lee Potts Mustin.  Mr. Mustin proudly served our country in the US Army and retired from R. J. Reynolds Packaging after many years of dedicated service.  Kenneth was a loving husband, dad, papa, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed.  Surviving are his are his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley McCraw Mustin;  a son, Keenan Mustin (Dawn); two daughters, Tracy Stone (Vernon) and Heather Bowman; six grandchildren, Gavin and Ella Mustin, Meryssa and Tanner Stone, and Abbi and Chole Freeman; brother, Tommy Mustin (JoAnn); sister, Reba Phillips (Ray) and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Mustin had a brother, Lindsey Lee Mustin, who recently passed away on November 29, 2020.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of King, 122 Kirby Rd., King, NC.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Mustin family.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
