Kevin Jay Campbell

Mr. Kevin Jay Campbell, age 52 of Elkin, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Campbell was born in Maryland, on August 23, 1971, to Robert and Carol Pickeral Campbell.  Kevin was a loving husband, father, and friend; who loved hiking, playing cards, plants, his special kitty Onyx, playing magic cards, and traveling.  Surviving is his wife, Amy Thomas Campbell; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Annie Thomas and Jerry; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, April Thomas Hodges and Hal; nephews, T.J. Dupree and fiancée Amanda Green, Caleb Hodges and fiancée Katelyn Harris; and special friends, Theresa Chandler, Crystal Willard, Brian and Lisa Byrd, Ricky Smith, Michael Gravley, Sonya and Brady Sechrist, and Debbie’s Snack Bar work family.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elsie LeMaster.  For anyone who would like to pay their respects, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Campbell Home, located at 200 Draughn Road, Elkin, North Carolina 28621.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
