Kevin Mitchell Chambers

Mr. Kevin Mitchell Chambers, age 54 of Mount Airy, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Chambers was born on November 20, 1970, in Surry County to Garry Lee and Bonnie Holt Chambers. Kevin was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving is his mother, Bonnie Holt Chambers; and a sister, Lisa Michelle Chambers Thore and Danny; aunts and spouses, Pat Jenkins, Carolyn Davis and Lee, Jeanette Holt, Ann Wright and Ronald, Shirley Chambers; and uncles and spouses, Dennis Holt, Donald and Chipper Holt, Terry Holt and Neil Combs, Jeff Holt and Donald Hensley, Bobby Chambers, Randall and Ronnie Chambers; his father, Garry Lee Chambers, brother, Darren Mark Chambers, maternal grandparents, Walter and Lucille Holt, paternal grandparents, J.L and Elizabeth Chambers; nieces, Ashley Heath, Jennifer Thore, nephew, Brandon and Shelby Heath; great nephews, Reid Heath, Owen Heath, Ollie Heath; thirteen cousins, special friends Christopher Chambers, and Kenny Combs. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Mount Airy Wesleyan Church in Mount Airy with Mr. Brandon Heath and Mr. Calvin Vaughn officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Mount Airy Wesleyan Church from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pine Ridge Fire Department, Surry County Emergency Services, and Northern Hospital Emergency Department for the care they provided for Mr. Chambers.
