Kimberly Anne Kirkman Hudson

Mrs. Kimberly Anne Kirkman Hudson, age 62, of King, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born on July 7, 1962 in Surry County to the late Glen and Treva Riddle Kirkman. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Travis Hudson (Chelsea);  daughter, Jessica Jessup (Nathaniel);  grandchildren, Salem, Emersyn, Lennyn Jessup; sisters-in-law, Tammy Nunn and Nora Lange; special cousins, Wanda East and Kathy Chilton as well as numerous other cousins; nieces, Heather Clark, Erin Scott, and Greta Knuutilla; special friend, Mark McCoy. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Hudson; brothers, Mitchell and Phil Kirkman. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Rusty Reed. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:30 PM until the time for the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Hudson to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.
