Kizzie Edwards Bullin

Mrs. Kizzie Jane Edwards Bullin, 93, of Dobson, passed away Friday, June 1, 2007, at Northern Hospital of Surry County, while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Bullin was born April 6, 1914, in Surry County, to the late Ebin and Alice Jane Wood Edwards. Mrs. Bullin was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by two grandsons and spouses, Mitchell "Butch" and Rhonda Hazelwood and Michael and Debbie Hazelwood, all of Dobson; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; a sister and two brothers in-law, Ethel and Harold Southard of Greenville, SC, and Jack Lovelace of Jonesville; and a brother, John Edwards of Dobson. Mrs. Bullin was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Mack Bullin, who preceded her in death in 2004; her first husband, Austin Hazelwood; her second husband, Bill Ewing; a son, Frank Odell Hazelwood and his first wife, Ollie Francis Bingman Hazelwood, and his second wife, Beatrice Pleasant Hazelwood; her parents, Ebin and Alice Jane Wood Edwards; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Bertha and Ernest Montgomery, Thelma and Harvey Moser, Pansy and Sam Lovelace, Emma Lovelace, Betty and Talmage Brown; two brothers and sisters-in-law, B.O. and Hattie Edwards and Paul and Dorothy Edwards; a half-brother and wife, Roy and Viola Edwards; and a half-sister, Lola Smith. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 4, 2007, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with Rev. Travis Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Dobson City Cemetery.
