Kurt Kiger

Mr. Kurt Boyd Kiger, age 39 of Mt. Airy passed away unexpectedly, Friday, September 8, 2006 in Yukon Territory, Canada. Mr. Kiger was born in San Antonio, TX to Charles "Chuck" Kiger and the late Virginia "Jenny" Ann Boyd Kiger. He was a loving father, son and brother. Surviving are a son, Kade Kiger of Mt. Airy ; his father, Charles Kiger of Mt. Airy ; a sister, Angela Kiger and fiance Ted Mixon of Leesburg, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Lt. Col. Keith and Patricia Kiger of Aviano, Italy; a niece Monique Caporuscio; and nephews, Dane and Luke Battle. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Oakdale Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Will Randolph. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at Moody Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Rockford Street United Methodist Church at 520 Rockford St., Mt.
