Kurt Kuhne, II

Kurt Herman Kuhne II, of Concord, North Carolina entered into eternal peace to be with his Lord and Savior on July 27, 2020.  Kurt was born June 8, 1943 in Pontiac, Michigan to Kurt Herman Kuhne I and Lola Angela Attwood.   Kurt is survived by his wife Ramona Sue Kuhne, son Jason Kuhne of Stanfield, North Carolina, and daughter Dr. Wendy Kuhne, Scott Barr (husband) of Evans, Georgia.  Kurt worked a long successful career with General Motors Corporation in the Truck Division where he supported dealerships and customers in the states of North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.  He maintained several friendships from those days until his passing.  Kurt and family were members of Grace Moravian Church in Mt. Airy, NC where he took great pride and joy in teaching Sunday school to the high school class.  The family moved to Concord, NC in 1985 where most recently Kurt was a member of the Living Faith Church of the Brethren.  Kurt continued to teach Sunday school and mentor the church’s youth on the importance of education and professional development.  Kurt was also instrumental in operating the church’s food pantry that served the local community.  Kurt has been described by many as a sweet man who could meet a stranger and instantly make a friend.
