Lacy Ray Riddle

Mr. Lacy Ray Riddle, 86, of Pilot Mountain passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy.  He was born in Surry County January 15, 1932 to the late William Sherman and Elsie Caroline Johnson Riddle.  Mr. Riddle retired from Floyd S. Pike Electric and was of the Baptist Faith.  He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Tammy Riddle; grandchildren, Amanda Herring and husband, David, and Tanner Riddle and fiancée Casey Ann Dowling and Tyler Riddle and fiancée Kristen Chandler; a sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Paul Phillips and a brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Ima Riddle; special friend of eleven years Pamela Corbett.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Riddle was preceded in death by his first wife Husie Pruitt Riddle and his second wife Myrtle Wagoner Riddle; a son Tony Ray Riddle; sisters, Mary Norman and Marie Mabe; and brothers, Edward and Talmon Riddle.  The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to everyone for the visits and care during Mr. Riddle’s illness, and a special thanks to Max Hunter and Raymond Jessup and special friends at Hardee’s and McDonalds and also the staff of Central Continuing Care and Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, August 20, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Josh Jenkins and Rev. Eddie Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:30 PM until the time of the funeral and at other times at the home of his son and daughter-in-law Gary and Tammy.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
