Larry Allen Berrier

Mr. Larry Allen Berrier, 67, of Cana, VA passed away at his home Wednesday, September 12, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Surry County on January 5, 1951 to the late George Allen and Hattie Hawks Berrier.  Mr. Berrier was a well-known barber 48 for years in Mt. Airy.  He was he the owner and operator of Larry’s Barber Shop when he retired.  He was a kind, gentle man with a strong love for his family and friends.  Mr. Berrier is survived by his devoted wife, Gladys Combs Berrier; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Heather Berrier, and Steven and Deanna Berrier; grandchildren, Abby, Lucas, Sophia, Bryce, Riley, Carson, Sydney and Miles; and brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Gladys Robertson Berrier.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy.  There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt.
