Larry Garland Brown

Mr. Larry Garland Brown, age 74 of Pilot Mountain passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.  Mr. Brown was born on December 10, 1947, in Surry County to the late Romie Garland and Irene Wall Brown.  Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He was a member of Simmons Grove Baptist Church and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 56 years, Donette Key Brown; a son and daughter-in-law, Marty Brown and wife Janet, two grandchildren, Amber Brown, Courtney Brown; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Gray Brown and David Lee Brown.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Simmons Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jacob Hall and Rev.
