Larry Dean Coe

Mr. Larry Dean Coe, age 69, of Dobson, NC passed away on Saturday October 10, 2020.  He was born in Surry County on July 24, 1951 to Clifton Nathaniel Coe and the late Josephine Mikels Coe. He was a member of Union Hill Friends Church and was a retired Owner, Operator of Larry’s Diner.  Surviving is his wife Deborah Thomas Coe; daughter Pamela Coe; God son Dustin and his wife Julia Boger; grandchildren, Floyd Scales, Lucy Coe, Lois Coe; his God grandson, Hunter Boger; his father, Clifton Coe; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy Jo Coe Childress and husband, Louie, Patty Christine Coe Childress and husband, Don; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Wayne Coe and wife, Judy, Donald Gray Coe and wife, Joan; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jerry Snow and Jeffery Clement.  Larry never met a stranger and had many tales to tell.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2020 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Union Hill Friends Church Cemetery.  Rev. Gary Snow, Rev. Terry Coe, and Jerry Snow will conduct his services.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of his service at 2:00 PM.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorials be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
