Larry Junior Crouse

Pastor Larry Junior Crouse, 66, of Mt. Airy, passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday, January 25, 2021. He was born in Surry County, November 1, 1954 to the late Buster Dewitt and Mary Ann Holloway Crouse.  Larry served as the pastor of Bryant's Chapel Baptist Church for almost 21 years.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, but first and foremost he dedicated his life to serve the Lord.  Larry had a deep conviction for the salvation for everyone and worked tirelessly to spread the gospel.  He also had a strong love for our country, praying daily for the leaders to use good moral judgement in their decisions making process.  Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife Judy Fulk Crouse, his son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Tabitha Crouse, his adored grandchildren, Emma Grace, and Corbin Tucker Crouse; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lou and Tony Lawson, Polly White, and Helen and Ronnie Bryant.  In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by an infant sister Carrie Lou Crouse, a sister Willie Mae Crouse; and brothers, Rufus, and Jack Crouse.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Bryant Chapel Baptist Church.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm, Friday with Bro. David Harrelson, and Jason Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Shining Light Baptist Church Cemetery.
